Privacy Note

gifts.wtf is a non-custodial marketplace for Telegram gifts, usernames and anonymous (+888) numbers. We try to hold as little about you as the product allows. This note explains, in plain English, what we collect, what we deliberately do not, and how to reach us with questions.

1.What we collect

Telegram login identity. When you connect through Telegram, we receive the basic identity Telegram shares for sign-in (your Telegram user id, username and public display name) so we can associate you with your listings, offers and deals.
Wallet addresses you interact with. When you connect a wallet or take part in a deal, we see the public wallet addresses involved so the escrow can route and confirm the trade.
On-chain public data. To show listings, ownership, prices and history (including data aggregated from other marketplaces), we read information that is already public on the blockchain.
Minimal analytics & logs. We keep light, mostly aggregate usage and technical logs (for example that a page or endpoint was hit, and basic error information) to keep the service running, secure and debuggable. We do not build advertising profiles.

2.What we do NOT collect

We never take custody of your keys. gifts.wtf does not ask for, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases or recovery words. Never share those with anyone, including us.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not rent it out to advertisers or data brokers.
We do not ask for more identity than the Telegram sign-in provides. There are no passwords for us to store and no unnecessary personal details.

On-chain activity is public by nature. Anything settled on the blockchain (wallet addresses, transfers, the fact and amount of a trade) is recorded on a public ledger that anyone can read. That is how blockchains work. It is not something we can make private, and it may be linkable to you. Consider this before you trade.

3.Cookies & local storage

We keep our use of cookies and browser storage to the essentials:

Theme preference. Your chosen dark / light / blue mode is saved in your browser’s local storage (the gw-theme key) so the site remembers it.
Session. A session cookie or token so you stay signed in while you use the platform.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage resets your theme choice and signs you out.

4.How we use what we collect

We use the above only to operate the platform: to sign you in, show and match listings, run the @giftswtfbot escrow that settles a deal, keep the service secure, and comply with the law that applies to us. When a listing proxies to another marketplace (for example Getgems, MRKT or Portals), that venue handles its own data under its own policy. We do not control it.

5.Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share the minimum necessary with the infrastructure that runs the platform (for example hosting and blockchain nodes), or where the law requires it. A counterparty in a deal necessarily sees the public information needed to complete that deal. By design, though, the escrow keeps each side’s wallet from being shared with the other.

6.Your choices

You can disconnect your wallet, stop using Telegram sign-in, or clear your browser storage at any time. Note that information already written to the blockchain is public and permanent and cannot be deleted by us. For questions about the limited data we hold off-chain, contact us below.
